Lookouts by paranoidhawk

This is an entry to the Gay Western Jam.

The game has an interesting art style of animal sprites against a simple illustrated background. The text frame also has a western touch.

The music is subtle and shifts with scenes. There are some portions of silence with crickets sfx which adds to the the Western theme.

The story is subtle and beautiful. As the name says, it’s about two lookouts who are investigating a town for its gold mines. They both come from ruthless gangs and find a moment of peace with each other before deciding to take the future into their hands.
